British Engineering Institutions - Egypt (BEIE) was established in 2004 as a Scientific Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and working in Egypt as a representative office for the following British Professional Engineering Institutions .

(A merger between Institution of electrical engineers IEE and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers)

Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
The intent is to increase awareness of career development, course accreditation and technical understanding leading to the ultimate goal of engineering excellence. This is being achieved through a variety of events, such as lectures, site visits and training courses.

To support the engineering community with valued products and services which develop and promote knowledge, understanding and professionalism for the benefit of all.
BEIE is aiming to explain and facilitate the procedure of gaining membership into British Engineering Institutions for Egyptian engineers or expatriates residing in Egypt.
Branches
BEIE’s intention is to spread the awareness about institutions membership and professional qualification all over Egypt. We have started this by opening our branch in Alexandria, the office will be hosted by the Arab academy for Science & Technology in Miami Campus.
The course will cover subjects such as personal safety (including PPE), occupational health and hygiene, risk management - in design, construction and operation, climate change and local & international standards.
